About

Vortex Pin started as a group chat where a few friends kept spamming each other screenshots of mobile games. At some point we figured other people might want the same kind of honest, un-hyped take, so we turned it into a small site. Nobody here is a marketing department — we're just players who care about tap-and-go fun.,We focus on racing and arcade titles because that's what we actually enjoy on the bus, in the queue, during a coffee break. But we also cover RPGs, strategy, and the occasional weird experiment when something grabs us. If a game is fun for two minutes and boring for the next two hours, we'll say that out loud.,How we pick games: we scroll stores, follow reader tips, and sometimes stumble on stuff by accident. Every game gets real playtime before a word is written — usually several sessions across a few days, on more than one device when we can.,We keep the site independent. That means we buy or download games the normal way and write what we think, even when a studio would rather we didn't.
