Skyhook Wanderer

Skyhook Wanderer sends you drifting between floating islands with a grappling hook and a lot of curiosity. There's no combat and no failure state to speak of — you swing, glide, and poke around for hidden paths and little story fragments.

What sold me was the mood. Soft music, gentle physics on the swings, and puzzles that never punish you for guessing wrong. It's the game I reach for when I want to wind down rather than get my heart racing.

The swing controls occasionally fight you near tight ledges, but the generous checkpoints mean a missed jump costs you nothing but a second.
